Slow and lazy...

Me he reido como lela hoy...

Me encontré por casualidad el livejournal de Kate Beaton, una chica comiquera (e historiadora!) canadiense, de lo mejor que he leido en muuucho tiempo, mis vecinos deben pensar que estoy loca porque me rio sola... pasense, no se arrepentirán!

El de Bólivar y Sucre es particularmente maravilloso...

Chicken Nugget Lemon Tooty -anniversary-

Sorry, I was supposed to post this earlier!

Isaac, Gracie and Lily are three amazing kids that, with encouragement from dad, illustrator Aaron Zenz, do all sorts of cool stuff (drawing, painting, collage, etc.) and then post it on their blog, Chicken Nugget Lemon Tooty. They just had a three year anniversary and invited illustrators along to create pieces inspired on their drawings, so I did this one based on Gracie's teddy pear (so cool!).

The invitation's open until the end of August, so give it a go!

(They also have another blog, Bookie Woogie, where they review picturebooks and children's books, I really recommend it)

Hace poco participé en Letras del Sur, un libro ilustrado con textos maravillosos escritos por niños, niñas y jóvenes de la Fundación Bella Flor (Ciudad Bolívar). Un proyecto con un corazón muy grande.
